Will be good.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
Last season was solid for the Browns until the championship. I think they rebound from that in a big way in a wide open year. - Harvard University3Harvard UniversityCambridge, Massachusetts3.5

Had their best event last year at nationals. I would expect them to be just as good, if not better this year.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
They definitely have the best practice squad in the nation! And with most of last year's podium team returning, this team can get back there if they develop well. - Yale University4Yale UniversityNew Haven, Connecticut4

Many losses, but some great talent waiting for their opportunity. I could see this team surprising everyone.Brendan Feeney
Young talent had an opportunity to learn from superstars that graduated last year. Sykes moved from the front of the boat to the tiller with success in the fall. She will look to carry transalte that to the digital N. If things go wel, this team is a contender.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
A full roster turnover is tough to overcome, but this team has depth and talent. I think they'll be back in the top group quickly. - Dartmouth College5Dartmouth CollegeHanover, New Hampshire6

This team has been rising, and building depth. It will take time, but they have what it takes to get back to last year's level - Tulane University6Tulane UniversityNew Orleans, LA6

Their success will likely hinge on the availability of Samantha GardenerVisit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
While they only graduated one member of last year's squad, the absence of Sammie Gardner will be a major hit. Still it's an opportunity for this team's depth to step up. The other skippers are not to be counted out, and this team will have time to get there by April. - Cornell University7Cornell UniversityIthaca, New York6.5

Major loss in Bridget Green, but still feature some fiestiness from the north.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
Bridget Green was a big loss in graduation, but this team has depth well beyond that and I think will be the standout team in MAISA - Georgetown University8Georgetown UniversityWashington, DC7.25Visit School Website

Looking to replace Piper Holthus is no easy task, but that's exactly what the Hoyas will need. Doble and Bates have both progressed markedly, and with several top crews returning I do think this team has more than a shot of making it to New Orleans. - College of Charleston9College of CharlestonCharleston, South Carolina10.75Visit School Website

Based on early season success, this team has impressed with solid performances from a group that wasn't in the starting roster last year. It's almost like they have something to prove, and I'm interested to see how good they can ultimately be. - MIT10MITCambridge, Massachusetts11.25Visit School Website

A lot of unknowns for this team at the moment, but like their coed squad if they can turn some recent fleet race success into their favor they have a shot. - Tufts University11Tufts UniversityMedford, MA11.25Visit School Website

Definitely a rising team, and with the addition of some solid freshmen they will be looking to make a jump this season - Boston College12Boston CollegeNewton, Massachusetts12.25

They lost Sara Schumann- someone who has a very similar team race resume to the Callahan bros. That won;t be welcomed. However, I expect this team to be good still.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
This is the hardest team for me to rank. They have one of the top women's skippers in the country along with some great crews. But it's so incomplete at this stage that we just don't know how good they might be. - University of Pennsylvania13University of PennsylvaniaPhiladelphia, PA12.25Visit School Website

Tough to gauge, but that's not unfamiliar with this season's squads. They'll have to figure out how to put the pieces together in order to make it back to the dance. - Roger Williams University14Roger Williams UniversityBristol, Rhode Island12.5Visit School Website

Again, the Rog does team racing well. If they can get that going with the women's side this group can play! - Bowdoin College15Bowdoin CollegeBrunswick, Maine14.5Visit School Website

Not a lot of wins last year for what should be a quick team. Time will tell if they can get it going this season. - US Naval Academy16US Naval AcademyAnnapolis, Maryland16

A dark horse for sure, they shown in fleet racing they can play, and there has been solid development in the women's skippers for this team. In such a wide open MAISA, and with so many teams replacing major pieces I could see this team turning some heads.

I wouldn't be surprised if the defending champions that did not graduate a single person from their championship team went on to an undefeated season in Women's team racing. I don't mean winning every regatta, I mean winning every race!
