They have a strong roster and a great Open team to spar with. They should contend for NEISA and the podium in New Orleans come April.Annabel Carrington
They have a strong returning team and seem ready to compete at the Harvard Women's Team RaceVisit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
As one of the deeper women's teams returning most of the roster from last season, the first weekend is a good starting point. I expect them to build on this - Yale University3Yale UniversityNew Haven, Connecticut3.2
Brendan Feeney
They are fast and dynamic. Leonard will have them ready to roll against any opponent. They had a very strong showing in their first regatta. I could see this team being very hard to beat.Annabel Carrington
They are a fast group with new starters coming in hotJohn Mollicone
Despite turning over all of their starting skippers from the past 4 years, they are reloaded and were able to win their first event of the season at the Harvard Women's Team Race on a tiebreaker over Brown and Dartmouth. They could be a podium team at Nationals this year once again.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
A lot of questions may have just been answered in the first weekend back for the lady bulldogs. A really solid first event for this group together, a very tough call between ranking them 2nd or 3rd for me. - Dartmouth College4Dartmouth CollegeHanover, New Hampshire3.8
Annabel Carrington
Good sailors and good performance at the Harvard Women's Team Race. They are in the top group and will only get better.John Mollicone
Had a strong showing at the Harvard Women's Team Race to start the season with a 7-1 record. Bella Casaretto and Madeline Koelbel looked strong and should lead this group to be a top 4 contender this year.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
Very good performance from this group's first time together, and impressive record. As the season goes on it will be a team to watch near the top of the leaderboard. - Harvard University5Harvard UniversityCambridge, Massachusetts5.2
Annabel Carrington
They battle with the top teams often and tend to get better throughout the season.John Mollicone
This team has started off the past few spring seasons as a work in progress and has finished on or near the podium by the Nationals.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
Surprised they didn't pull away from the middle group of teams this past weekend, but I think they have it in them to improve on that quickly. - Georgetown University6Georgetown UniversityWashington, DC6

They are the favoriets to win MAISA. In her 4th year, senior Bates will be a strong asset.John Mollicone
Won the ODU Women's Team Race to start off the season. They have big shoes to fill with the loss of All-American Piper Holthus from last year's solid team. With two returning strong boats, I have Georgetown competing with Cornell to be MAISA's best.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
A solid start to the season on Saturday, but dropping the two races Sunday shows the Hoyas have some things to work out - Cornell University7Cornell UniversityIthaca, New York7

I could see this team surprising many.John Mollicone
Losing All-American and MAISA Women's Skipper of the Year Bridget Green is a big loss but Women's Singlehanded National Champion Gilda Dondona should be ready to step up along with veteran skippers Win Majette and Sophia Devling and many great crews. I have them battling with Georgetown to be MAISA's best.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
A really solid team I think, and still looking to see how they shape up with the first real test coming up this weekend - Tulane University8Tulane UniversityNew Orleans, LA8
John Mollicone
The big surprise team at both the Women's Fleet Race and Team Race Nationals last year. Without All-American Samantha Gardner I see them taking a big step back, but with TR Nationals on their home waters and two returning starting boats from last year you never know.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
First weekend with a couple different lineups. With Gabi Vassel spending time training in the 470, we will be seeing a few different looks for the next few weeks. The deprth within the team should improve over that time, and come April this team could really start to fire on all cylidners. - College of Charleston9College of CharlestonCharleston, South Carolina9.2
John Mollicone
Top team in SAISA? The Dellenbaugh at the end of March will be a good test to see where they are in the pecking order against some strong competition.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
A pretty easy run on their first weekend, but the youth and experience showed a bit in New Orleans. Still this team had Stanford on the ropes at one point, and I expect them to get better. Like ODU, a lot of upside potential with this group. - Tufts University10Tufts UniversityMedford, MA9.8
John Mollicone
This could be the best Tufts women's team race team since the Women's Team Race Nationals inception. The Hubbard sisters and crews keep getting better and the addition of strong freshmen skipper Maddie Janzen puts this team in my Nationals group this year and maybe good enough to be a top 6 team by season's end.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
This team is defintely moving up from last year's finish, and is still a team to look out for not just in NEISA. - Roger Williams University11Roger Williams UniversityBristol, Rhode Island11.6
John Mollicone
Along with Tufts and Bowdoin, this could be a team that could come out of NEISA with one of last spots to Nationals this year. Had a decent showing at the Harvard Women's Team Race without their top women's skipper, Lucy Meagher.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
Clearly in that middle group of teams in NEISA at this stage. Good enough to be in the mix, but not quite to the level of the top teams. - MIT12MITCambridge, Massachusetts12.4
John Mollicone
They had a rough start to the season at the Harvard Women's Team Race but they will improve as they always do.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
A bit off the pace from the middle group in week 1, but the next couple weeks will give us more insight if this team is more looking in or out - Old Dominion University13Old Dominion UniversityNorfolk, Virginia13.6

In my top 15 after a good finish at the ODU Women's Team Race to start the season.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
A solid finish while taking a win off of Georgetown. Still a young team with more upside ahead of them. - University of Pennsylvania14University of PennsylvaniaPhiladelphia, PA14.4
John Mollicone
They graduated three strong starting crews and top women's skipper Sofia Segalla so I see this team looking to rebuild this year.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
The Jen Harris this weekend should show us where this team stacks up. Until then hard to say. - Boston College15Boston CollegeNewton, Massachusetts14.6Visit School Website
John Mollicone
Not sure how much they will put into the women's team racing this spring, but they have one of the top women's skippers in the game in Caroline Sibilly. It will be interesting to see how they do by NEISA TR Champs. - Bowdoin College16Bowdoin CollegeBrunswick, Maine15
John Mollicone
This could be a good team that could get to Nationals out of NEISA behind Yale, Brown, Dartmouth, Harvard, and Tufts. Skippers Lauren Russler, Mairéad Reitzel and Kyra Phelan along with some good young crews, this Bowdoin team could take some races from a lot of good teams. Will they have enough on the resume to get there? We'll know more by the Dellenbaugh about them.Visit School WebsiteCharles Higgins
Hard to gauge until the start racing which is still a couple weeks away. - US Naval Academy17US Naval AcademyAnnapolis, Maryland16.6

This is the team to beat. Lahrkamp will be on the Open side most of the year, but expect her to be competing in the biggest women's events. Her CV is amongst the best in recent history, and with a strong supporting cast, I do not see this team losing easily.Annabel Carrington
Solid team. They are yet to lose a race on either side this season. They will be very hard to beat.John Mollicone
Same team as last year that won Nationals, will they lose a single race this year? A perfect 10-0 at the Green Wave Women's Team Race to start the season.Charles Higgins
A good start to thee season, especially considering they still weren't deploying 2/3 of the starting skippers from last season's championship team.
